Kaitlyn & Steven gathered their entire family and loved ones who came from near and far to celebrate their love on this private tucked away property at Enchanted Acres Barn. It ended up being a bit of a rainy day, but beautiful nonetheless!

Kaitlyn began her morning in the cabin with her bridesmaids and her mom and of course her full hair and makeup team for all eleven girls! I photographed her details, including their custom wedding newsletter. Kaitlyn got dressed and did a first look with her girls, I loved capturing this candid moment! Meanwhile, Steven was across the yard in his own cabin with his five groomsmen. He of course had to incorporate his cowboy boots in the wedding day! His Dad helped with his final touches before his first look with his bride!

Kaitlyn choose to do a very special first look with her Dad. She definitely put some thought into this with a handwritten letter and a gift that she’s been saving for years. When Kaitlyn was growing up, she would write her Dad sticky notes and leave them around the house before we left for work. She saved all of them and framed them as a keepsake. How sweet their relationship is! It was such an honor to not only witness this emotional moment between them (and her Mom and brother who were off to the side watching) but to actually document this as another keepsake for the both of them. My hopes are that these images created a legacy for them that is rooted in love and connection.

Now it was time for Kaitlyn to see her groom! She shared a first look with Steven and personal vows on the front lawn of Enchanted Acres. We dodge the rain for most of their bride and groom photos and a variety of their bridal party photos! We got as many family pictures in as we could before we moved inside for their ceremony!

It was a bit of a colder day, but they were fully prepared with blankets, umbrellas and many thought out details including pre-packaged hor dourves and drinks for cocktail hour. As they entered their reception space they went on to dance the night away, listen to heart felt speeches and be present with all who have gathered!
